WHAT IS GAUNTLET

A PvP trading arena in the browser. Your leveraged position is a cell in a pit; its size telegraphs your collateral, and every other trader in the arena is trying to take it.

THE LOOP

1. Enter. Connect a wallet on Base, pick a stake in USDC, choose an asset, a side (long or short) and a leverage. Your entry is bound to your wallet by a signature.
2. Trade with your body. Your PnL runs on the live tape. Your cell grows with your stake and moves with your mouse. Eat smaller traders to take their remaining equity. Avoid bigger ones: they are trying to do the same to you.
3. Survive the market. Adverse moves drain your equity. Hit zero and you are liquidated in front of everyone. Near liquidation, the heat zone makes you faster and hungrier: risk is power here.
4. Cash out. Leaving is a 3 second commitment, not an escape hatch: you freeze, you stay exposed, and you settle at the price of expiry. Your result lands in your arena balance, withdrawable on-chain.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

• Peer against peer, no house. The economics are pari-mutuel: winners are paid exactly what losers pay, tick by tick. Nobody at the table is the casino.
• Positions are physical. Collateral has a body. Getting eaten is a real risk transfer: the eater banks your remaining equity. Skill in the pit is part of the edge.
• Provably fair tape. PnL runs on a seeded, replayable game price anchored to live oracle data: latency sniping the raw feed does not work here.
• You are your wallet. No pseudonyms to hide behind, no way to impersonate anyone. The name over your cell is the address that signed your entry.
• Money exits are yours to claim. Withdrawals pay from an on-chain vault through merkle proofs, with delays and caps that bound everyone, including us.
